I operate a small mobile newborn and family photography business offering in-home stylized newborn sessions and in-home or on-location family sessions. Every session is carefully planned and customized to reflect the taste of the family. 

Photography has been close to my heart since I was young. After my first daughter was born my love of photography morphed from a love of art into an obsession with capturing the moments I knew I wouldn’t be able to get back.  I wanted to document everything while simultaneously capturing gorgeous and meaningful images of my children. I was obsessed with figuring out how to get them, although I was frustrated by my lack of technical skills. Once I received my first DSLR I checked out as many photography books as I could carry in my arms from the library and read every single one from start to finish. Because I wanted to perfect my craft as much as possible I would analyze each shot and try to figure out how to make it better based on what I had read in books and what I had observed studying professional photographers and classic artists' work.

After my youngest daughter was born in 2012 my hobby began to morph into a business. The drive to critique my images and expand my skill in photography still pushes me forward.
