MATERNITY
Maternity sessions are each planned to suit the unique style of each of my clients. I love capturing the beautiful form during pregnancy and the genuine loving interactions between family members.
Where are sessions held?
Maternity sessions with Candace Mata Photography may be done at the location of your choosing or in your own home.
Sessions may be held in natural outdoor settings such as parks or rivers, or in various downtown locations in public areas of local cities if you're looking for something a little different.
You may also choose to be photographed in your own home for a more documentary feel to the images.
In-home studio-style sessions using backdrops are also available.

After booking, you will receive a questionnaire that will help me get to know you a little better. It will also help me gauge your style, offer any needed suggestions, and plan your session.
Session fees include travel to locations within Merced & Stanislaus County. Locations outside of the area will incur a travel fee.
How long will the session last?
Outdoor maternity sessions typically last 1.5 hours. This allows time for us to walk around the location and capture your and your family in a variety of settings. It also allows time children to take breaks if needed. Ideally, one outfit change can be fit in your 1.5 hour-long session.
In-home sessions last 1-1.5 hours with an additional 20-30 minutes of set-up and tear-down time.
Who may be included?
Family members are welcome to be photographed along with you. I especially love capturing sibling's excitement about their new baby brother or sister.
What is the pricing for family sessions?
Maternity session fees start at $450 for a 1-1.5 hour session. About 2 weeks after your session you will able to access a private online proofing gallery with 25-30 images for you to order from. The final image amount you will receive will depend on the collection you choose.
